View and edit VCF files online

A .vcf is just text, but reading it is painful. Upload one or more files to see the contacts as cards, fix mistakes, add photos, scan a QR code to save a contact on a phone, and download the result.

Cards with QR codes, ready to fix and re-download

Edit names, numbers and photos
How it works

Three steps

  1. 01

Upload one or more .vcf files

Several files are merged into one list. iPhone, Android, Gmail, Outlook and WhatsApp exports are all supported.

  2. 02

    Review and edit

Search by name, number, email or company. Open a card to change any field, add or replace the photo, or remove the contact.

  3. 03

    Download or scan

Download all or selected contacts as one .vcf or a .zip of individual files. Or show a QR code and point a phone camera at it to save that contact instantly.

What you can see and change

Full name, job title, organization, phone, email, website, address, notes and photo. Extra phone numbers and e-mails are kept. Edits stay in your browser until you download; nothing is written back to our server.

QR codes for contacts

Each card can show a QR code containing the vCard. Scanning it with the iPhone or Android camera opens the add-contact screen with the details filled in. Photos are left out of the QR code so it stays scannable.

Merging files

Upload several .vcf files together and they appear as one list. Download it as one file to import everywhere at once.

FAQ

Questions about this tool

Can I convert the VCF to CSV here?

Not yet. The viewer edits and re-exports vCards; CSV export is on the roadmap.

Are vCard 2.1 and 4.0 files supported?

The viewer reads 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 files and writes 3.0, the version every current phone and mail app accepts.

Are my contacts stored on your server?

Uploaded files are kept only for the session so you can page through them, and are removed automatically. Edits and downloads happen in your browser.
