Business card to vCard

Take a photo of each card with your phone, upload them here, and an AI model reads the text into contact fields. Check the result as cards, fix anything, and download the .vcf.

Business card to vCard

Photos of cards, read by AI

Photos are sent to an AI service to read the text
How it works

Three steps

  1. 01

    Photograph the cards

One card per photo, flat and well lit. Photos are shrunk in your browser before upload, so phone photos of any size work.

  2. 02

    Let the AI read them

Press “Read cards”. Each photo is sent to a vision model that returns the name, title, company, phone, email, website and address.

  3. 03

    Review and download

Each card becomes a contact with the photo attached. Correct anything the model misread, then download the .vcf or save a contact via its QR code.

Getting the best results

Fill the frame with the card, avoid glare on glossy cards, and keep the text horizontal. Cards with unusual fonts or two languages are usually read correctly, but always check phone numbers and e-mail addresses before importing.

What happens to the photos

Unlike the CSV and VCF tools, this one sends the photo to a third-party AI service to read the text. Do not use it for cards you are not allowed to share. The photo is attached to the contact so you can recognise the person later.

Importing

FAQ

Questions about this tool

How many cards can I scan at once?

Several per upload; each photo is processed in turn and takes roughly 5–15 seconds.

Does it work with cards in languages other than English?

Yes, as long as the script is one the AI model can read; Latin, Devanagari, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese cards are commonly fine.

Is it free?

Yes. The AI step is paid for by the site; there is no charge and no account.
